The Emerging Tech Unpacked podcast was launched on International Women’s Day in March 2024 because we want to solve the problem of the lack of women in STEM and innovation.
For each podcast episode, we unpack different topics with a woman in STEM expert who shares her inspiring career stories and perspectives and how she began her career in her field.
The podcast is in audio and video formats, is educational and inspirational, and aims to:
• Provide educational content about emerging tech and innovation topics
• Shine a spotlight on diversity and influential women in STEM leadership
• Promote career pathways for more people to enter STEM careers

Host
Host Lucy Lin has over 20 years of global marketing and teaching experience working with universities, startups, corporations, government and non-profit organisations. She is the Founder of Forestlyn, the Impact Entrepreneur in Residence (diversity & net zero) at Western Sydney University, and the NSW Vice Chair of the Australian Computer Society (ACS).
She is passionate about emerging technologies, education, diversity, careers and driving inclusive innovation.
